Charlotte’s Wood works with schools and settings to plan, design and create Forest School sites within their grounds.  This is an alternative solution for those who don’t have woodland within walking distance or their own transport and is particularly popular with nursery schools and settings who wish to enhance their outdoor provision.

Whether you have a piece of mature woodland, a narrow strip of trees or simply a patch of open land, we can offer advice, guidance and practical support in creating your very own Forest School area.

From tree planting to creation of living willow structures, we can help you to plan a Forest School area to best meet the needs of your children, your site and your Forest School plans.  We can design your site, source materials and contractors and work alongside fellow professionals and staff to ensure that the project runs smoothly.  We will endeavour to source materials and services at the best possible cost (free wherever possible).  Big or small, we will help you to create an area which will enhance the learning potential of your outdoor area!

Typical Costs: £250 per full day or £150 per half day of site planning and/or creation.
