Wild Wood Holiday Club

If your child enjoys exploring and being outdoors, why not book them a place on the ‘Wild Wood Holiday Club’?  The club runs between 10am and 4pm (with an early drop off option from 9am) and is typically on for 2 or 3 days each school holiday.  It is open to all children aged 4-11 years.  The ‘Wild Wood Holiday Club’ is a great opportunity for your child make new friends and have fun playing and learning new things in a safe outdoor environment.  To get a flavour of what happens at Wild Wood Holiday Club, watch this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9ADLZv7jms

Spring/ Summer term 2020 DATES:

19th February, 14th and 15th April, 25th and 26th May

The ‘Wild Wood Holiday Club’ uses Forest School teaching techniques which aim to engage and motivate children whilst building their confidence and communication skills.  Typical activities include:

  • Shelter building
  • Woodland games
  • tracking
  • tools and crafts
  • nature walks
  • mud sculpting
  • whittling
  • wild art
  • safe fire making
  • outdoor cooking

 

Wild Wood Holiday Club’ takes place at Charlotte’s Wood in Wilby (IP21 5LT).  All staff and volunteers are DBS checked and the adult to child ratio is a maximum of 1:8.

The cost is £30 per child per day (or £25 per child per day for siblings).
