About Charlotte

Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience of working with children, schools and families as a primary school teacher, headteacher, educational consultant and Forest School leader.

She co directs the Primary Leadership Consultancy, running courses for headteachers and senior leaders and providing individual support as a School Improvement Partner for a number of schools in Suffolk and North East Lincolnshire.  She works as a consultant for Schools’ Choice in Suffolk, providing governor training and headteacher performance management.

Charlotte is also a qualified Level 3 Forest School practitioner and trainer.  She has experience of leading Forest School sessions with children aged 2-11 years and is one of a handful of trainers whose practice is endorsed by the Forest School Association (FSA).  Charlotte is also a trainer assessor and provides guidance with setting up and running Forest School as well as practical delivery of sessions and support with bid-writing and site design.  She also has a diploma in Forest Bathing and facilitates Forest Bathing sessions at Charlotte’s Wood and for the National Trust at Sutton Hoo.

Charlotte is a British Nordic Walking instructor and runs regular ‘Learn to Nordic Walk’ programmes at Charlotte’s Wood.  She also offers 1:1 tuition and leads Nordic Health Walks on a regular basis.
